When we describe a standing desk as "stable and durable", "quiet in motion", or "safe and reliable", these words sound appealing, but how do they actually perform in real use?
In February 2026, alongside the launch of the Vernal Core3 standing desk, Vernal released the Core3 Test Report, publicly sharing data and details from real laboratory testing. Through this report, Vernal aims to give users a clear understanding of what kind of desk they are truly bringing into their workspace.
You deserve to know the real quality of the desk you take home.
In this article, we highlight the 2.2 Mechanical Structure Durability Test from the Vernal Core3 Test Report, taking you inside Vernal’s testing laboratory to show how a series of rigorous tests are used to verify every detail of the desk’s stability.
Overview
To evaluate structural reliability and safety under long-term use and abnormal loading conditions, this module systematically validates the complete desk assembly and critical stress components. The evaluation was conducted through a combination of realistic usage scenarios and extreme condition testing. Specific test items included the horizontal static load test, horizontal durability rest, leg strength test, and desk drop test. These tests simulated typical scenarios such as users leaning against the desktop, lateral forces, localized impacts, and accidental drops during transport or operation. Through multi-dimensional stress and cyclic impact validation, the testing ensures that stability, structural integrity, and functional reliability are maintained, preventing potential risks resulting from structural fatigue or localized failure.

Core Test
Include Test 2.2.1, 2.2.2
Test Objective
To verify the structural strength, stability, and durability of the standing desk under both momentary high-impact horizontal forces and long-term repetitive horizontal loading. The test ensures that under real-world operating conditions, such as leaning, lateral shifting, frequent usage, or accidental impact. The desk exhibits no structural damage, significant deformation, or functional failure, and the frame retains full operational capability and reliability.
