It works fine as a shelf (but would be better if it didn’t have the lip in front), but if you slide it out at all, there’s nothing supporting the tray beyond the tracks, so it just kind of falls onto your desk and makes it completely unusable as any kind of a drawer."

"I opted for the solid walnut option and it is absolutely gorgeous. One caveat is that when they say solid walnut they mean it is made of all walnut. The actual shelf isn't one big piece of walnut, but several pieces glued together. It does not take away from the beauty of the piece in anyway, but it's a key detail to know."
